Exporting from Money

These steps are for Microsoft Money 98. If you have a different version, see Money's online help.

1. Start Money.
2. From the File menu, choose Export.
3. Select Loose QIF in the Export dialog and click OK.
4. Choose a separate folder you will use when moving data between your PC and your H/PC. Use file names that remind you which account is stored in the file. Then click OK.
5. Choose Regular account types.
6. Select an account and click Continue.
7. Money will tell you when it has finished exporting the file.
8. Export a QIF file for each account you want to transfer.
